The Tennessee Vols will be a factor in one of the biggest recruiting battles of the 2025 cycle.

2025 five-star wide receiver Jamie Ffrench is one of top players in the nation.

Ffrench, 6-foot-185 lbs from Jacksonville, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Florida. He's also rated as the No. 12 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

The talented recruit is your classic all-around elite high school wide receiver. Ffrench isn't a burner, but he's fast enough. He's athletic, has great body control, and he already has a reputation as a terrific route runner.

All the big programs are in the mix for Ffrench, including Tennessee.

According to On3, Ffrench has scheduled four unofficial visits for the spring. And Tennessee is getting one of those visits (April 8).

LSU, Ohio State, and Texas are also getting visits this spring.

Alabama, Florida State, and Miami are also in this battle — essentially almost every top school in the country would love to have Ffrench.

Ffrench was previously committed to Alabama. He decommitted after Nick Saban retired in January. Ffrench wanted to hit the reset on his recruitment with a brand new staff taking over at Alabama.

The Vols are at a point under Josh Heupel where they are basically a threat for every top wide receiver recruit in the country. That doesn't mean they're going to land Ffrench, but they're going to give the five-star recruit plenty to think about over the next few months.
