2023 five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, a Tennessee Vols commit, has been the subject of plenty of rumors over the last few months.
There's been a lot of speculation that Iamaleava is receiving an $8 million NIL deal to attend Tennessee. We have no confirmation whether or not that's true, though there's plenty of evidence pointing in that direction.
Due to those rumors, there have been plenty of comments from opposing fan bases saying that Iamaleava is only committed to the Vols because of the money. Again, we don't know if that's the case or not (in regards to the money).
But what we do know is that Nico is repping Tennessee every chance he gets. And not only is he repping the Vols, but so is his entire AAU volleyball organization.
Iamaleava skipped an Elite 11 tournament this past week so he could honor his commitment to his volleyball team.
On Friday, a clip of Nico's volleyball team made the rounds on social media. The entire organization was decked out in Tennessee shirts.
I'd say there's no doubt that Nico is all-Vol — regardless of whether or not he's earning $8 million to play for the Vols (and even if he is, he's far from the only quarterback receiving a big NIL deal).
The Vols landed a high-upside quarterback with incredible skills, great character, and amazing leadership abilities in Iamaleava. And he loves everything about Tennessee. Maybe things are finally starting to turn around for the Vols.
