Christman, 6-foot-6/299 lbs from Richfield, OH, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio and the No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation (as well as the No. 22 overall 2021 player in the nation).

In addition to his offer from Tennessee, Christman also holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State, among several others.

247Sports describes Christman as a player who has "rare" tools for a left tackle and has the potential to be a first round pick in the NFL draft. They also mention that he will likely be an early contributor at a Power-5 school.

Christman told Rivals earlier this month that he plans to commit in "about a year". He also discussed what he's looking for in a program, saying "What I look for is trust with the staff, life after football, and best fit for me in the school's academic and football culture".

The Vols do not currently have any players committed to their 2021 recruiting class.
