The Tennessee Vols offered one of the top 2020 junior college players in the nation on Tuesday.
Three-star cornerback Brian George, 6-foot-2/190 lbs from Belle Glade, FL, tweeted that he received an offer from the Volunteers.
George, who attends Highland Community College in Highland, KS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 JuCo player in state of Florida and the No. 1 JuCo cornerback in the nation.
The highly touted junior college recruit also has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and West Virginia, among several others.
George totaled 32 tackles and five pass breakups in ten games for Highland last season. The Florida native also returned kicks and punts at Highland. George had a 74 yard punt return for a touchdown against Iowa Central.
While George is obviously a player that would fit well with the Vols (Jeremy Pruitt loves tall defensive backs), Tennessee will face some stiff competition for the nation's top JuCo cornerback.
Earlier this month, George received an offer from Miami and called it his "dream school".
