Tennessee Vols offensive lineman John Campbell went semi-viral earlier this year when he told reporters that part of the reason he transferred from Miami to UT is because there's a Waffle House close to campus.
"They got Waffle House, that's a place I like," said Campbell in August. "At the U, there really wasn't a Waffle House — it was like 40 minutes away. So I already like it here."
Campbell, who recently announced that he's returning to Tennessee in 2024 via an epic video, detailed the exact thing he orders from Waffle House during an appearance on "The O'Rylie Show".
And it's a lot of food.
Cheese eggs, cheese grits, sausage, toast, regular waffle, Texas melt w/ bacon, egg, and cheese with hash browns.
And a water to wash it all down.
Campbell said he'll usually have this meal after a game.
The Tennessee offensive lineman is 6-foot-5/320 lbs so it's no surprise that it takes a little more food to feed him than the average Waffle House customer.
