The Tennessee Vols received some positive news on Thursday, just a couple of days before a big game against the Kentucky Wildcats.
2026 four-star wide receiver Tyreek King committed to Tennessee on Thursday morning.
King, 5-foot-11/170 lbs from Knoxville, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 17 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 3 player in the state of Tennessee. He's also rated as the No. 120 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
The four-star wide receiver committed to Tennessee over Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M, among others.
2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, who committed to Tennessee in early August, is a big fan of King.
"He is a very good player who is very twitchy," said Brandon of King to 247Sports. "He is a ball hawk with great speed. He seems like he loves the game, which is why he is a great fit for the Tennessee offense. This is why we went after him hard."
Tennessee now has five players committed to its 2026 recruiting class.
