One of the Tennessee Vols' top remaining 2024 recruiting targets will head to Boulder this weekend to visit Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
2024 five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is a player the Vols, along with plenty of other programs, badly want to land.
Seaton, 6-foot-5/287 lbs from Washington DC (he attends IMG Academy in Florida), is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 16 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.
The talented offensive lineman will be taking an official visit to Colorado this weekend for the Buffaloes' game against Oregon State, which means the red carpet will be rolled out for Seaton.
“I’m going because Prime needs linemen,” said Seaton to On3 this week. “I want to see if this a program that I can get developed at and play for a national championship.”
“What excites me is the celling that program has,” added Seaton in an interview with 247Sports. “They’re about seven to nine players away from competing with the best of best.”
Seaton took an unofficial visit to Tennessee for the Vols' win against South Carolina in late September. And he's expected to take an official visit to Tennessee for the Vols' game against Georgia later this month.
Ohio State is another program that's also very much in the mix for Seaton (he's expected to take an official visit to Columbus on November 11 for OSU's game against Michigan State).
This recruiting battle is likely going to go all the way to the early signing period in December. Tennessee is in a great spot, but Ohio State and Colorado, along with Oregon, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma and Miami, are certainly going to make this a difficult decision for the highly-coveted offensive lineman.
There’s one uniform choice that Tennessee absolutely can’t make for Missouri game
They just can’t make that choice
