A 2024 four-star recruit that the Tennessee Vols were hoping to flip tweeted on Tuesday night that he's sticking with his commitment. 

2024 four-star defensive lineman Elias Williams announced that he's shutting his recruitment down and honoring his commitment to Missouri. 

"I want to thank Alabama, Tennessee, USC, and Florida State for recruiting me," tweeted Williams. "After talking with my family and through prayer. I am shutting my recruitment down! FULLY committed to the Zou!" 

Williams, 6-foot-4/270 lbs from Hudson, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 50 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 55 player in the state of Florida.
