The Tennessee Vols are set to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It's a huge game for the Vols as they look to get back on track after a tough 29 point road loss to the Missouri Tigers last weekend.

Playing Georgia, however, isn't an easy task. The Bulldogs haven't lost a game in nearly two years. And they haven't lost to Tennessee since Josh Dobbs' Hail Mary pass to Jauan Jennings in 2016 in Athens.

Last week against Missouri, it felt like the Vols' energy wasn't necessarily where it needed to be.

Tennessee senior offensive lineman Cooper Mays, though, doesn't think energy will be an issue this week against Georgia.

"It's critical, I think that everybody's going to be coming out ready to play," said Mays on Tuesday. "If you're not, then something's wrong with you. If you can't get hyped up for this game, there won't be one to get hyped up for."

Tennessee will certainly need plenty of energy to get a win against Georgia — especially considering the Vols' depth issues right now.

UT has been ravaged by injuries lately. And they added a couple of names to the list this past week as wide receiver Dont'e Thornton is set to miss the rest of the regular season and highly touted true freshman linebacker Arion Carter will be out the rest of the year (including the bowl game). Thornton and Carter join a list of injured players that includes linebacker Keenan Pili, cornerback Kamal Hadden, and wide receiver Bru McCoy. Plenty of other players, including most of the offensive line, are also playing through nagging injuries.
