Tennessee Vols recruiting target Jabari Small trimmed his list of top schools to six on Friday afternoon and UT is among those six.
Small, 5-foot-10/195 lbs, is a three-star running back from Memphis, TN (Briarcrest Christian). He's rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 22 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 10 all purpose back in the nation.
The Memphis native rushed for 1,118 yards and 12 touchdowns on 141 carries as a junior in 2018. He also caught 21 passes for 244 yards.
Small told Rivals earlier this month that he has a solid relationship with Vols running backs coach David Johnson, who happens to be his area recruiter (Johnson coached wide receivers at Memphis from 2016-2017, so he's very familiar with the area).
The versatile running back visited Tennessee earlier in the spring and he's planning to visit again at some point this summer.
Small doesn't have a planned commitment date yet.
