One of the Tennessee Vols’ top-rated 2026 commits is reportedly taking a visit to a prominent Big 10 program this weekend.

According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, 2026 four-star athlete/wide receiver Salesi Moa is taking a visit to Michigan on Saturday for the Wolverines’ rivalry game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Michigan was one of Moa’s top schools before he committed to Tennessee in July.

Moa, 6-foot-1/190 lbs from Ogden, UT, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 3 athlete in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Utah. He’s also rated as the No. 45 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

One reason why Vols fans shouldn’t be overly concerned about Salesi Moa’s visit to Michigan

Anytime a commit visits a big-time program, it’s a concern. Recruiting is fluid and things can change quickly.

But in Moa’s case, there is one interesting thing to note about this visit.

Returning to Knoxville this weekend for an unofficial visit for the Vols’ game against Vanderbilt isn’t an option for Moa. That’s because the Vols are only hosting official visitors this weekend. Tennessee isn’t hosting unofficial visitors due to the 2020 Jeremy Pruitt recruiting scandal (Moa took his official visit to Tennessee in June).

So it’s not like Moa is choosing to visit Michigan over Tennessee.

Moa seems to be solidly committed to the Vols for now. We’ll see if Michigan is able to change his mind this weekend.
