Rising redshirt junior defensive back Christian Harrison, who spent the first three seasons of his career playing for the Tennessee Vols, transferred to the Cincinnati on Thursday.

Harrison, a former three-star recruit from Atlanta, started five games for the Volunteers in 2024.

Harrison, who is the son of former NFL safety Rodney Harrison, finished his Tennessee career with 31 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a half sack.

The former Vol will see more playing time at Cincinnati than he would've at Tennessee, but he still would've had a role with the Vols had he chose to come back for another season. The loss of Harrison certainly hurts Tennessee's secondary depth (though that's a battle that seemingly all teams are fighting these days when it comes to the transfer portal).

Harrison wasn't the only former Vol that found a new home on Thursday. Tennessee transfer tight end Holden Staes announced that he's transferring to Indiana.

Staes spent one season with the Vols after transferring from Notre Dame to Tennessee ahead of the 2024 season.
