The Tennessee Volunteers' men's basketball team has helped turn the Food City Center at Thompson-Boling Arena into a house of horrors for most opposing teams under Rick Barnes' watch.

The arena will have an added home touch on Saturday.  The university announced on Wednesday that the Vols' matchup with Texas A&M will be the school's annual checker game.

Through its sponsorship with Food City and in association with Reese's, the school will provide orange and white shirts for fans in the lower bowl to don and create the checkered look.  Fans can go to UTSports.com/checker to see check their section, row, and seat to see what color they'll be wearing at the game.

Tennessee has become famous for its checkering of Neyland Stadium, but the checkering concept was first on display at Thompson-Boling Arena in 2006 when the Vols faced Kentucky.  Tennessee first checkered Neyland Stadium in 2014 when they hosted Florida.

The Vols will look to get revenge on Saturday against Texas A&M, who defeated Tennessee 85-69 in College Station on February 10.  The game will tip off at 8:00 pm ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.
