Everyone in the college football world has taken notice of the Tennessee Vols' recruiting success this week.

And how could they not?

The Vols have landed commitments from two five-star players, two four-star players and the top junior college running back in the nation.

Making that kind of splash in recruiting is how the foundation of a championship program is built.

And other programs are clearly concerned about Tennessee's recent success.

It started with a "sub-tweet" from a Florida staffer after four-star defensive back Kamar Wilcoxson committed to the Vols earlier this week.

Then there was a tweet from Georgia's official account that took a direct shot at Tennessee.

It's not just the SEC that seems to be shaken by the Vols' recruiting success, either.

Oklahoma defensive graduate assistant Will Johnson threw some shade at Tennessee on Thursday evening.

Johnson was on the 2015 Sooners team that beat the Vols in Neyland Stadium.

Even though Tennessee lost that game against Oklahoma, it was still one of the loudest Neyland crowds ever.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart is also well aware of how loud Neyland can get.

It sounds like the rest of the college football world is afraid of awakening a sleeping giant.

Might be too late, though.
