Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs wasn't able to lead the Tennessee Titans to a road win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night.

The Titans needed to beat the Jaguars to win the AFC South and get into the playoffs.

Instead, the Jaguars secured a 20-16 win. That means that Tennessee will be watching the playoffs from home for the first time since 2018, which was Mike Vrabel's first season as the franchise's head coach.

After the game, superstar running back Derrick Henry was asked about Dobbs and his performance.

The former Heisman Trophy winner had plenty of positive things to say about the former Vol.

"I told him thank you," said Henry after the loss to Jacksonville. "Thanks for coming in and learning the system quick. Thank you for giving us a chance. Appreciate his leadership from the time that he got here. The way he worked. It was fun having him and he has a bright future."

Dobbs, who was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, will turn 28 in January. He should get plenty of offers this offseason for a backup role in the NFL, instead of being a practice squad option as he has been at times over the last six seasons.
