Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello is just an entertaining individual.  Whether he's barking from the dugout, belly to belly with an umpire, or talking with the fans or media, he's just fun to watch and listen to.

And that includes at Tennessee basketball games as well, it seems.

Vitello was sitting courtside for the Vols' home tilt against Auburn on Wednesday night.  With the Vols leading 77-75, Dalton Knecht took the basketball to the rim for a thunderous slam dunk that proved to be the final blow in Tennessee's 92-84 win.

Knecht was being guarded by the Tigers' talented center Johni Broome, and Knecht blew right by him and slammed the ball home, sending the Thompson-Boling Arena crowd into a frenzy.

Vitello simply pointed with both hands in the direction of Broome, who got absolutely owned on the play defensively by the Vols' superstar.  No barking, just simply a point.

Perhaps Missouri head football coach Eli Drinkwitz should take note of Vitello's reaction.  Drinkwitz, who strangely told Josh Heupel after the game that they "stand on business", was reportedly yelling at the Tennessee bench that "you ain't that tough" when the Vols and Tigers met back on February 20.  Tennessee defeated Missouri 72-67.

Vitello is often loud and outspoken.  That's part of why his players and Tennessee fans love him. But it was a simple gesture that added to a fun moment inside Thompson-Boling Arena on Wednesday night.
