Two Tennessee Vols players had reactions to beating the Florida Gators that will get UT fans fired up.

Quarterback Hendon Hooker and running back Jabari Small were both obviously excited to beat the Gators on Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.

But beating Florida wasn't the Super Bowl for those guys — they have their sights set much higher.

"We still have the same mission and that is getting to Atlanta," said Hooker after Tennessee's 38-33 win over the Gators. "Just got to stay the course and keep competing."

Hooker added that Saturday's win was "just another day at the office".

As for Small?

Well, he was questionable going into the game after sustaining an injury against Akron last weekend.

But once Small knew he could play, he told Vols head coach Josh Heupel to not hold him back against Florida.

Small ended up rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. He also caught three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Those quotes from Small and Hooker show exactly why Tennessee won on Saturday — they're focused and determined.

A few years ago, that attitude wasn't present. But this team is on a mission. And while most folks outside of East Tennessee don't feel like the Vols have a chance to get past Georgia and win the SEC East, the guys in the locker room have no doubt they can get there.

Belief is a very powerful thing. And there's a lot of belief in Tennessee's locker room right now.
