Vols defensive lineman enters NCAA transfer portal after one season at Tennessee
The Tennessee Vols are staying busy during transfer portal season.
A Tennessee Vols defensive lineman is reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal after just one season in Knoxville.
Vols redshirt junior defensive lineman Josh Schell announced on Tuesday that he’s entering the transfer portal.
Josh Schell transferred to Tennessee after spring practice earlier this year
Schell, who played in 12 games for the Vols in 2025, transferred to Tennessee in late April after spending the first three seasons of his career at Grand Valley State.
The Michigan native is a former two-star recruit who also played baseball at Grand Valley State after originally signing with Army out of high school.
Schell has one season of eligibility remaining.
