A former Tennessee Vols player that entered the NCAA transfer portal just before it closed in late April has landed with a new program.
Former Vols defensive back Cameron Miller entered the portal recently after going through spring practice with Tennessee.
Miller, a Memphis native who didn't see any action for the Vols last season, was a three-star safety in the 2022 recruiting class.
On Wednesday, ABC24 reported that Miller is heading back home to join the Memphis Tigers' program.
Miller's father confirmed the news to ABC24.
Miller is a talented player who should find success at Memphis. Unfortunately for Miller, he just couldn't carve out a role at Tennessee.
