Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning is quick to point out that he doesn't have the same dance moves as his nephew, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.
Arch showed off his dance moves, which were described by nearly everyone as "un-Manning-like" earlier this season.
Peyton was asked this week by Kay Adams (via The Up and Adams Show) about Arch's dance moves and the former Vol revealed that while those dance moves aren't in his system, they're in the Manning bloodline via his brother (Arch's dad), Cooper.
"It's not in my genes," said Peyton of Arch's dance moves. "It's nowhere in my system by any means. Cooper, Arch's dad, was a great athlete, was a good dancer, was a cool brother growing up. I think Arch got a lot of that from his dad.
"Real proud of him, went down and saw him a play a couple of weeks ago in his first start. I was glad to be there. Pull hard for him every single Saturday. Cooper's done a great job just kind of mentoring him."
So there you have it. The dancing IS a Manning thing — it's just a gene that happened to not get passed down to Peyton and his other brother, Eli.
The Tennessee Vols will have a hidden advantage in big game against the Alabama Crimson Tide
Huge game for both teams
