Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs had some thoughts on the officiating in UT's Elite Eight matchup against Purdue on Sunday.
And his thoughts likely centered on Purdue center Zach Edey.
Edey, who is listed at 7-foot-4, wasn't called for his first foul until midway through the second half. He drew 10 foul calls before he was called for his first foul.
"I could be a better ref than this," wrote Dobbs on the X.com platform.
I can't imagine many Vols fans feel any differently. The game was expected to be physical, but the fact that Edey was given a bit more leeway from the officials was understandably frustrating for Dobbs and the rest of the Tennessee fan base.
