2024 five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is one of the Tennessee Vols' top remaining recruiting targets.
Seaton, 6-foot-5/287 lbs from Washington DC, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 16 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.
The talented offensive lineman will take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend for the Vols' matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs. Ahead of that visit, Seaton paid a big compliment to Vols offensive line coach Glen Elarbee, his would-be position coach at Tennessee.
What stands out about Tennessee is the development,” said Seaton to 247Sports. “Darnell Wright was a five-star prospect just like me. Coach Elarbee, he’s showing what he can do with five-star prospects. Not only five-star prospects, but your average offensive lineman and turn them into a very good player. I feel if he got his hands on me, in three to four years I could be the No. 1 pick round one.”
Tennessee is battling Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Oregon, Oklahoma and Ohio State for Seaton. This battle is almost certainly going to go down to the wire, but Seaton's comments about Elarbee indicate that the Vols are very much a threat to land the coveted five-star recruit.
