Chris "Mad Dog" Russo made a bold prediction for the Tennessee Vols on Wednesday morning while appearing on ESPN's First Take.

Russo not only thinks the Vols deserve to be a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, he also thinks Tennessee will be the team cutting down the nets in Glendale in April.

"If they don't give Tennessee that fourth No. 1 seed, there needs to be an investigation," said Russo. "With Alabama and Florida and South Carolina and Auburn and Kentucky, they won that (SEC) regular season. Dalton Knecht, I told you about him, you're going to love him — he's the SEC player of the year. They gotta be the No. 1 seed."

"I'm going to do something that I shouldn't do right now but I'm going to do it here," continued Russo. "I'm going to pick Tennessee to win it all."

Stephen A. Smith and former NFL player Ryan Clark, who were on the show with Russo on Wednesday, didn't go all in on the Vols like Russo did, but they agreed that Tennessee is a solid pick to win it all.

As good as this Vols team has been this season, anything less than a Final Four will feel like a major letdown. That's not to say that it's Final Four or bust for Rick Barnes — he's the best thing to happen to Tennessee basketball in decades — but I'm not sure he'll ever have a better chance to get UT to a Final Four than he has this season.
