One of the big storylines going into the Tennessee Vols' showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide was the return of linebacker Henry To'o To'o to Neyland Stadium.

To'o To'o spent two years at Tennessee before transferring to Alabama following the firing of Jeremy Pruitt in early 2021.

Alabama's loss to the Vols was To'o To'o's first game in Neyland Stadium as an opponent.

After the game, a visibly distraught To'o To'o spoke to reporters.

And he seemed to indicate that he has a rematch with the Vols in mind.

“Season’s not done," said To'o To'o. "We’ve got a long season left. We’ll see them.”

I'm guessing To'o To'o is envisioning a rematch with Tennessee in the SEC Championship game (Vols control their own destiny, but a big game with Georgia looms large).

Or perhaps To'o To'o thinks Alabama will see the Vols in the playoff. That's certainly possible (a Vols loss to Georgia and then Bama beating the Bulldogs in the SEC Championship game could result in Alabama and Tennessee making the playoff).

It has to be fun for Vols fans to see UT in these conversations. It's been a long time since Tennessee was involved in the national championship discussion.

By the way, To'o To'o has played in two Tennessee/Alabama games at Neyland Stadium. He's yet to be on the winning side when the game is played in Knoxville.
