The Tennessee Vols baseball team had a solid week to close out the final full week of February.

Tennessee went 5-0 last week, winning midweek games against UNC-Asheville and East Tennessee State before sweeping a three-game series from Albany.

The Vols, which have won six games in a row, are now 7-1 on the season with their lone loss coming in a 10 inning game against the Oklahoma Sooners on the opening weekend of the season.

As a result of Tennessee's 5-0 week, the program moved up one spot in this week's D1 rankings from No. 9 to No. 8.

Tennessee jumped Vanderbilt this week after the Commodores slipped from No. 6 to No. 9.

The Vols will return to action on Tuesday afternoon with a home game against High Point. Tennessee will then welcome Bowling Green to Knoxville for a three game series.
