Last week, Vol football finally hired a new tight ends coach with spring football practices right around the corner. Head coach Josh Heupel promoted offensive analyst Alec Abeln to the open position. This marks the second year in a row that Heupel has made an internal hire for an open offensive position after he hired Kelsey Pope as his wide receivers coach in 2022.
