2023 five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, a Tennessee Vols commit, is one of the most talked-about recruits in the nation.
Iamaleava, who is rated as the No. 3 quarterback in the country, has received a lot of media coverage this spring due to the rumor that he received an $8 million NIL deal to commit to Tennessee.
There's been no confirmation that Iamaleava received such a deal. And if he did, it shouldn't matter to Vols fans. All that should matter is how Iamaleava performs as an SEC quarterback. Is he worthy of the hype he's received?
Based on some of his latest highlights, I'd say he's beyond deserving of the hype.

The California native is quick, has great pocket awareness, and routinely delivers lasers to receivers.

Oh man, that throw should have Vols fans extremely excited. Nico is the total package. In addition to being able to make all the throws, he's also an elite teammate and leader — the attributes that truly make him a special player.
