If you were a fan of the Tennessee Vols or just college baseball last season, you know who Ben Joyce is. The former Vols righty was the hardest-thrower in the country. Joyce was a key part of a special pitching staff for the Vols. Now, he is back to his old tricks at the professional level.
Joyce closed it out for the Trash Pandas on Saturday. He hit 102 MPH multiple times on the radar gun. The former Vols flamethrower struck out two of the final three batters after walking the first guy he faced.
He is currently one of only three players drafted in 2022 to reach AA ball so far. You can expect that he will continue to climb the level ranks with his impressive stuff on the mound.
