One of the most incredible moments in Tennessee Vols football history came in 2016 when UT quarterback Josh Dobbs connected with Jauan Jennings on a 43-yard hail mary to beat Georgia 34-31 in Athens.
Tennessee needed a hail mary to win the game because Jacob Eason hit Riley Ridley with a 48-yard touchdown pass with just 11 seconds left on the clock to give Georgia an unlikely lead late in the fourth quarter.
Here are both plays:
Dobbs, who currently plays for the Tennessee Titans, appeared on "Bussin with the Boys" last week to discuss a variety of topics.
The topic of the Hail Mary in Athens came up and Dobbs told the story from his vantage point.
And it's absolutely incredible to hear.
Check it out (there are a few NSFW comments from "Bussin with the Boys" hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, so be careful if you're at work or around children…or Georgia fans as this will likely bring back some painful memories):
One of the best things about this video is Dobbs talking about how he's from Georgia but never wanted to play for the Bulldogs.
I also love Dobbs talking about how quiet the Georgia fans got after he completed the pass to Jennings to win the game.
Easily one of the best moments ever for the Vols. Tennessee might have sputtered down the stretch in 2016, but that hail mary against Georgia is a play that will be etched in college football history forever.
