The Tennessee Vols got one step closer to their goal of winning a national championship on Sunday by beating the Florida Gators 8-5 to win their first SEC Tournament championship since 1995.

There were plenty of Vols fans on hand in Hoover, AL to help Tennessee celebrate the win. Throughout the SEC tournament, the crowd was very much a pro-Vols crowd.

After Tennessee's win against Florida on Sunday, Vols baseball coach Tony Vitello took some time to shake hands with fans and thank them for making the trip to Alabama to support UT.

Vitello thanking the fans is nothing new. He's been deliberate this season about recognizing Tennessee fans and thanking them for their support during a memorable season.

Tennessee baseball is more than happy to celebrate their SEC Tournament championship win, but they also know their ultimate goal — winning the College World Series — still awaits.

That's why UT's players are going to enjoy this win today, but then they'll be getting back to the grind on Monday.
