The Tennessee Vols' 12-2 win over Dayton on Friday night guaranteed that UT will be viewed as the villains of college baseball once again in 2023.
Tennessee freshman Jake Kendro hit his first career home run as a Vol and he proceeded to display one of the best home run celebrations you'll ever see.
Kendro's home run was initially ruled a fouled ball. But after a review, it was ruled a home run.
And that's when Kendro proceeded to come back on the field and bat flip before taking his time trotting around the bases while the Dayton pitcher followed him around chirping.
Check out the wild moment.
There were some questions about whether or not the 2023 Vols would have the same swagger as the 2022 team without big personalities like Jordan Beck and Drew Gilbert.
After Kendro's blast on Friday night, I'd say there's no question that this team has the same swagger as last year's team. So I'd expect this season to be just as fun as what we saw from Tennessee baseball last season.
