Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel has worked hard over the last 18 months to build a strong locker room at UT.

Heupel has used various methods to improve team chemistry — dodgeball, Wiffle ball, etc — and it appears his efforts are working. This Vols team seems as close as any team in recent memory.

On Saturday, the official Tennessee football Twitter account posted a video clip of Heupel's latest efforts to build team chemistry.

The Vols had a "big man punt return" challenge recently. And the video that was posted showed Tennessee defensive lineman Elijah Simmons, who is listed at 340 lbs, successfully catching a punt.

Check it out:

If you're a Tennessee fan, you have to love the reaction from the team after Simmons caught the punt. It's clear this team loves being around each other. And they're having fun even while doing a "challenge" that ultimately means nothing.

Heupel has managed to find a perfect balance between working hard and having fun. That can be a hard balance to find, but Heupel has somehow unlocked the secret to making it work on Rocky Top.
