ESPN draft expert Todd McShay released his entire list of player rankings for the 2023 NFL Draft and it includes numerous Tennessee Vols players.

McShay's rankings include 340 total players. For context, there were 262 players selected in last year's draft. So aside from a couple of outliers, McShay's list is essentially every player that has a shot to be drafted in 2023.

Eight Tennessee players made McShay's list.

  • Cedric Tillman — WR — No. 40
  • Jalin Hyatt — WR — No. 44
  • Byron Young — DE — No. 60
  • Hendon Hooker — QB — No. 68
  • Darnell Wright — OT — No. 130
  • Bru McCoy — WR — No. 196
  • Jerome Carvin — OL — No. 245
  • Jeremy Banks — LB — No. 306

Several of these players haven't officially declared for the draft and still have eligibility remaining.

The expectation is that Hyatt will declare in the coming days. McCoy is the only player on this list that I expect to return to Tennessee in 2023.

If the Vols have seven players drafted next spring, it will be massive for recruiting — especially if Tillman or Hyatt (or both) are selected in the first round.

The Vols are trending in the right direction and having numerous players drafted will only serve to keep the momentum from this season rolling into next season.
