The Tennessee Titans are fresh off a narrow win against the Washington Commanders. A win is a win in the NFL, though.
A banged-up Titans squad heads into their bye week at a perfect time.
On both sides of the ball, Tennessee could use a week off to rest. The Titans are one of the most injured teams in the NFL so far this season.
For the defense especially, they could get a handful of guys back. At the very least, some guys would be closer to returning after a week off for the Titans.
Bud Dupree and Amani Hooker headline that group.
Ola Adeniyi and Zach Cunningham could be back after the bye as well.
On offense, it provides time for the offensive line to rest up. Multiple pieces of the unit has been banged up, and center Ben Jones joined that group today.
Treylon Burks will not be back for the Titans right after the bye week, but it provides a weekend where he will not miss a game. The off week just buys more time for Burks. Both he and Racey McMath are on injured reserve.
The Titans could also get Nate Davis back after the bye. That would be really important for the flow of the offense going forward.
The offensive line struggled at times today against there Commanders, but it has been impressive at times this season.
It is no secret that injuries have piled up for the Titans. Hopefully, this early bye week can get their health back on track as best it possibly can.
