While Bill Belichick won't be in charge of any team for the 2024 NFL Draft, he is still keeping busy.
According to Pat McAfee, Belichick will be joining him in co-hosting the Draft Spectacular next Thursday, where they will be recording live from the draft in Detroit.
""I'm looking forward to it. Draft Day, Draft Weekend is always an exciting time for everybody," Belichick said. "It's a great event and I'm looking forward to seeing it from the other side.
"It'll be fun to be with you guys and get your expertise."
This year will certainly be a change for Belichick, but getting to hear his analysis of all the players will most definitely be a treat. His football knowledge is unmatched and he will provide a very unique point of view.
Even McAfee couldn't seem to believe that Belichick agreed to do this with them.
But it's happening.
Plus, this is an environment where people will have the opportunity to see a completely new side to Belichick. If his smile on the show was any indication, he is excited and ready to go.
It was reported earlier on Wednesday that Belichick is also exploring a possible career in television and is expected to sign a deal with Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions to do analysis, per ESPN.
Belichick on the "ManningCast?" Yes please!
So this might just be the start.
But I think it's safe to say that Thursday night will be a must-see for everyone, regardless of what team you root for.
