On Jan. 2, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during a regular season matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, suffering a cardiac arrest. CPR was initiated on the field by first responders after Hamlin collapsed, with it later being announced that his heartbeat was restored on-field before being taken to the hospital.

This was an unforgettable moment in sports, with the entire community coming together to support Hamlin.

And now he is providing that support to another notable athlete who suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday.

Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing at USC. LeBron James and his wife Savannah confirmed the news in a statement to TMZ.

"Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information," a family spokesperson told TMZ. ""LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes."

Hamlin, who knows all too well what it is like to go through this, has voiced his support to the James family following the news.

"Prayers to Bronny & The James family as well. here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process," Hamlin wrote on Twitter.

Bronny is reportedly in stable condition and out of the ICU.
