Jimmy Garoppolo's time with the Las Vegas Raiders is officially coming to a close. A lot has happened over the past year, but it officially hit the breaking point with this latest report.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Garappolo has been suspended for two games for violating the NFL's Performance Enhancing Substances Policy.

"The policy violation is related to him using a prescribed medication without having a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption, per sources," Schefter wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Schefter then added that Garoppolo will be released "before the fifth day of the new league year in mid-March, when he would earn an $11.25 million roster bonus."

He is expected to appeal his suspension.

Garoppolo was drafted by the Patriots in the second-round of the 2014 NFL Draft. However, he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2017.

Last offseason, Kyle Shanahan parted ways with the quarterback and he headed to Las Vegas, signing with the Raiders on a three-year deal.

But thing did not go well.

Garoppolo started six games for the Raiders, but was ultimately benched for rookie Aidan O’Connell. And all signs pointed to his time in Las Vegas coming to a close after that move.

So let's see what's next for him.
