FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots have many players that like to show off their dance moves. And they aren't shy about that.

However, two have become known for doing one of the most popular dance moves and it appears some of their peers have taken note. 

On his podcast It Needed To Be Said, Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill took a hilarious jab at Mac Jones and Mike Gesicki over their dancing. 

"I will say this though, Mac Jones has probably the worst griddy in the NFL," Hill said. "Him and Mike Gesicki, they belong as teammates." 

And on Friday, the two were asked about what Hill said and responded with a smile on their face. 

Instead of trying to defend his celebration dance, Gesicki took a different approach.

"Yeah I absolutely love that. That’s actually my goal," Gesicki said. "So that means that I’m accomplishing my goal, I’m successful with that. I can’t speak for Mac and his, because I don’t know what his intentions are, but mine is to just be hilarious. So hopefully we can see that pretty soon.”

So if this was his goal, he certainly achieved it with Hill smiling as he made the claim on his podcast. 

And as for Jones, the quarterback has decided to take a step back from this particular dance move. 

“I retired the griddy," Jones told A to Z Sports. “I just want to celebrate with my teammates. Maybe all of us can do it together.”

Yet, he clearly wants to see more of those celebrations from Gesicki this season. 

"I’ll leave it up to Mike," he said. "Hopefully get a couple of touchdowns and let him do it.”
