Monday night's Elite 8 matchup between LSU and Iowa was one to remember. And much of that was due to the insane performances from Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
So many people tuned into the game including past and present NFL players. One of which was future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion posted on his Instagram story following the game, with a simple message to the two teams who left it all out on the court.
"Wow 👏,” Brady wrote, tagging the two teams.
These two teams faced off once again after LSU defeated Iowa in the Championship game last season. But this time is was Iowa who came out on top.
Clark just couldn't miss last night, finishing with 41 points, including nine three-pointers. She also had seven rebounds and 12 assists.
Her performance even drew comparisons to Patrick Mahomes.
As for LSU, Flau'jae Johnson led the scoring, finishing with 23 points. However, it was Reese's performance that kept them truly in the game, with the forward finishing with 20 rebounds and 17 points before fouling out.
While Tom Brady's reaction was pretty awesome, the best reaction of the night came from Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones. He showed his support for women's sports in the best way possible.
Seeing these athletes using their platform to support women is special and there needs to be so much more of that. It's a known fact that women's sports aren't given the same respect as men's most of the time, but with Tom Brady taking a minute to commend them for their efforts, it's a good start.
