FOXBOROUGH, MA – It was a day to remember at Gillette Stadium. 

At halftime in the New England Patriots season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, Tom Brady stepped out onto the field to celebrate his incredible career. 

And Robert Kraft made a big announcement. 

The Patriots owner said that for the first time ever, he is waiving the four year waiting period and Brady will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame this Spring. 

Brady will be inducted on June 12, 2024. 

The quarterback retired from the NFL after 23 seasons and seven Super Bowl championships, six of which he won in New England. 

And to start the day, he ran onto the field wearing his No. 12 jersey and hyped up the crowd. 

During his speech, Brady said something that all fans would love to hear. 

"One thing I am sure of, and that will never change. I am a Patriot for life," Brady said. "

He was surrounded by Robert and Jonathan Kraft along with his three children.
