The New Orleans Saints may be in the market for another wide receiver this season at some point.
Unfortunately, a reunion with former Saints' star wideout Lance Moore sounds unlikely. On the bright side, it sounds like Moore has joined the recruiting of Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham Jr. probably won't be ready until sometime in November or later. He suffered a torn ACL during the postseason while playing for the Rams last season.
That being said, a Saints team in playoff contention would be a viable landing spot for the current free agent.
The Giants, Bills, and Rams are other teams that have been rumored to be interested in the former rookie of the year. There will be others that will try to sign the wideout as well.
Jarvis Landry and Tyrann Mathieu have both been vocal about Beckham Jr. as well for the Saints. They all went to LSU and have that connection.
The Saints are thin at WR right now due to injuries, but they hope that isn't the case later in the year. Michael Thomas could return this week, and Jarvis Landry seems to be close to a return as well.
Saints' rookie standout WR Chris Olave suffered a scary concussion against the Seahawks last week.
Moore's nod to Beckham Jr. on Twitter just adds fuel to the fire that may keep growing as the season presses on.
