The New Orleans Saints have to get it together on offense. This week, that could start with one player against the Seattle Seahawks.
This player has had a lot of success against the Seahawks in his career with the Saints. Last year, he dominated them. They need him to repeat that again this season.
That player is Saints' running back Alvin Kamara. Kamara is back and full healthy, according to him and the team. He expects to make a full return for New Orleans this week. They need him desperately.
At quarterback, it will most likely be Andy Dalton. That should not affect the game plan too much for the Saints, though. They need to get Kamara involved early and often.
Their star RB needs to be the focal point of the passing game alongside Chris Olave.
In two games against the Seahawks, Kamara has nineteen receptions for 220 yards with 120 rushing yards. He's scored three times in those matchups.
It is clear that he is elite through the air against Seattle. The Saints must take advantage.
In order for the Saints to climb out of their 1-3 hole, they need a healthy Alvin Kamara. He changes the complexion of the offense just by being on the field. The drop-off from him to Mark Ingram in totality is very large now.
The Saints' offense has struggled mightily without Kamara during his career.
Accordingly, give him as many chances to make plays this week against the Seahawks and beyond.
