Saints star running back Alvin Kamara met with Roger Goodell on Wednesday to discuss his looming, potential suspension. Today, the NFL announced his suspension. Kamara will be suspended three games for his role in a fight in Las Vegas in 2022.
He is no longer facing a felony charge. It is unknown if he will appeal the suspension at this time.
According to the league's release, Kamara was suspended for "violations of the personal conduct policy." Check out the full statement from the NFL below.
Kamara will miss games against the Titans, Packers, and Panthers. He can make his season debut on October 1st at home against the Buccaneers.
