The New Orleans Saints have done a nice job securing offensive talent lately.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas agreed to a one-year deal incentive-laced deal last week, and they brought in 2022 touchdown king, running back Jamaal Williams on a three-year contract.

New Orleans is now looking to add some depth at tight end to go along with Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill as they had free agent Foster Moreau in for a visit over the weekend.

Moreau attended Jesuit high school in New Orleans. As a senior, he had 34 passes for 454 yards and six touchdowns and assisted the Blue Jays in winning the LHSAA Division I state championship.

This led to Moreau being rated a three-star recruit by 24/7 Sports and he committed to playing for LSU. Moreau hauled in 52 passes for 629 yards and six touchdowns in his four years there.

Moreau was a fourth-round pick by the then-Oakland Raiders in 2019, the former team of the Saints' new starting quarterback Derek Carr. So, with four years of playing time with Carr, Moreau certainly had a comfort level with him.

Moreau had 91 receptions for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns with the Raiders.

The Raiders signed free agent O.J. Howard Monday so Moreau's time with the Raiders is likely over. It'll be interesting to see if his ties to the city of New Orleans and Carr get him a new home with the Saints.
