Life comes at you quickly in the NFL, and New York Giants fans know all about it.
After adding a first-round quarterback a few years ago, chatter about picking another one is gaining steam already ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Brian Daboll's future isn't nearly as safe as it was a short while ago.
And if that wasn't enough evidence of how quickly pages turn in the league, out of nowhere, the Giants receive a vicious shot from Saquon Barkley's very own family.
In a recent interview, Barkley, who signed with the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles, revealed his daughter's reaction when he told her he was headed to Philly.
"Does that mean we're going to win now?," his daughter asked per Barkley.
While it's obvious Giants fans won't love hearing the anecdote, it's an objectively hilarious jab by Barkley's daughter.
Unfortunately, there's some truth to the funny story. Barkley left for a team that's much closer to winning a Super Bowl than the Giants are, having made the big game only a couple of years ago.
For New York, it's all about building a playoff-caliber roster and a big part of that will be figuring out the quarterback situation. That implies figuring out if Daniel Jones is the guy or if they'll have to pick up (or trade up for) a quarterback in the upcoming Draft.
