The New York Jets are already fearing the worst for Aaron Rodgers, but that leaves the question of who will be the teams starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.

And after his performance on Monday combined with Robert Saleh's comments after the game, it's pretty clear that it will be Zach Wilson.

"He'll be the guy," Saleh confirmed when asked if Wilson will be the starter (via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero).

Saleh was very complimentary of Wilson who was unexpectedly thrown into the game after Rodgers went down just minutes into the contest.

"I thought he was awesome," Saleh said after the game.

Wilson finished the game completing 14 of 21 passes for 140 yards and one touchdown with one interception in the win over the Bills.

Rodgers went down after being sacked by Leonard Floyd in the first quarter. He originally stood up, but immediately sat back down on the ground and trainers rushed over to him.

He was then helped off the field, limping to the sideline and Zach Wilson came in to replaced Rodgers. A cart was brought over to the sidelines soon after and Rodgers was loaded onto the back and brought back into the locker room.

Afterwards, he was seen coming out of the X-Ray room, which the Jets reported were negative, and had a boot on his left foot/ankle.

And now Saleh told reporters that Rodgers' injury is "not good."

This is a tough blow to the Jets, who brought in a lot of talent this offseason including a Super Bowl MVP quarterback. And with that, they were viewed as potential Super Bowl contenders.

While the team was able to come away with the win on Monday, it is going to be a tough season ahead if they are without Rodgers.
