Practice week at the 2024 Senior Bowl has come and gone.

Following three action-packed days in Mobile, the town was buzzing with plenty of talk on who's shined and who has to have a big pre-draft cycle to get back in team's good graces.

Here are some nuggets from anonymous sources on players who stuck out at the 2024 Senior Bowl:

Bullish: Toledo CB Quinyon Mitchell

Mitchell had his fans around the league before Mobile, but after a week where he put on an excellent display of athleticism and physicality, he's a round-one lock.

As one anonymous source told me: "No way he gets that far," when asking about Mitchell as a potential pick in the latter part of the 20s.

Bearish: UNC WR Tez Walker

Devontez Walker is in all likelihood a top 50 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft given his height-weight-speed combo.

But Mobile was rough for him as he struggled to catch the ball, dropping a plethora of passes throughout the week.

As on source told me: "It's hard to believe that a player at that height and with that speed and ability to get open doesn't go round one, but the drops didn't help him this week."

Bullish: Houston OL Patrick Paul

Not only was Paul dominant all week in pass protection drills and live reps, but he was also the star of the weigh-ins.

As one source put it: "I can't believe he wears over 330 pounds that well, he's a lock to go early on day two or even before at this point."

Versatile offensive linemen come at a premium in this league and when you show the propensity to be elite athletically, your stock has nowhere to go but up.

Bullish: Oregon OL Jackson Powers-Johnson

JPJ put Mobile in the palm of his hand on Tuesday and Wednesday of Senior Bowl week, pulling out early after all but solidifying his case as a first-rounder in the NFL Draft.

As one source put it: "Top 13 is a little rich, but no way he slips out of the first round. That's saying a lot for a center."
