2025 7-round NFL Mock Draft: The Titans consider Cam Ward's threat, Shemar Stewart skyrockets up the board, and Shedeur Sanders slides

The 2025 NFL Draft class just officially started, and it already feels like it is flying by. With the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine kicking off next week, we are about to get a much deeper understanding of this class, and how teams view it. Before too long, free agency will also come to give everyone a better understanding about each team's needs as well.
Before all the madness kicks off, it’s never a bad time for a good ole’ 7-round mock draft. There are no trades in this edition. That will come more after the Combine, when certain Intel starts getting out there about how these teams view certain players, their own roster, and things begin to become a little clearer.
The main reason for mock drafts is twofold, have a little bit of fun and opening up your mind to possibilities. News flash, but nobody is going to predict seven rounds and 257 selections correctly. So we might as well have a little fun while living in this imaginary world.
As we get closer to April, these exercises will also get a lot more predictive. This is, mostly at least, based upon how I would draft if I were the general manager for each respective team.
1. Tennessee Titans: Cameron Ward, QB, Miami
Ward spoke, and the Titans listened. After entertaining some trade offers, they decided to stay put and select the new face of their franchise.
2. Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Whether Myles Garrett stays with the team or not, Carter would be an intriguing addition. The Browns aren’t a quarterback away from turning it around, so taking the best player available makes sense, especially one with All-Pro upside.
3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Cornerback is a massive need for the Giants. Also adding one that can give you some reps at wide receiver, and dominate like Hunter, makes your roster a lot more dynamic instantly.
4. New England Patriots: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
We haven’t seen Stewart mocked this high yet but it could be trending that way. He’s an alien with unreal tools, but needs to figure out how to harness them.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
The Jaguars need to find more players who are culture-setters. Graham brings a nasty demeanor and physicality to the middle of the defense.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The slight slide ends for Sanded, and he lands underneath head coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly. In that rhythm-based offensive system, Sanders accuracy and precision feels like the perfect fit.
7. New York Jets: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
For argument's sake, let’s assume the Jets figured out the quarterback position through a veteran market. Whoever that is, let’s protect him with the best pure pass blocker in the entire class.
8. Carolina Panthers: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
A safety… this high? Starks isn’t just “some safety.” This is a dynamic football player who has a great knack for being around the football, and making big plays.
9. New Orleans Saints: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Saints pass rush is aging quickly and could use some fresh blood. Pearce is a slender-framed pass rusher with an insane combination of bend and closing speed.
10. Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
There is a debate about whether Campbell projects best at offensive tackle or inside at guard. It really doesn’t matter in this scenario. The Bears need to continue bolstering their offensive line, and he does that.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The 49ers aren’t a team that is mocked Johnson often but they take advantage with how the board fell. Blessed with outstanding change of direction skills and IQ, Johnson has the look of a Pro Bowl player in the future.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Rinse and repeat, the Jeanty fit with the Cowboys just makes so much sense. Dallas desperately needs an offensive difference-maker outside of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
13. Miami Dolphins: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
With the Dolphins needing upgrades at both offensive tackle and guard, nothing better than to find a player who could play both. Banks isn’t perfect but he has the requisite athleticism and physicality to start early on in his career.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Tight end is a clear need for the Colts, who could use a difference-maker in the middle of the field. Warren is one of those rare football players who can do almost everything you ask of him.
15. Atlanta Falcons: Shavon Revel, CB, ECU
If Revel wasn’t coming off of injury, there’s a chance that he could have fought for a spot in the top ten. He is long, explosive, and can run for days.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Cardinals need to find a difference-maker up front. Williams may not be there fully as a pass rusher yet, but the traits certainly are.
8 tight ends and offensive lineman that will dominate the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and skyrocket their draft stock
Potential tight end and offensive line risers to know at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
There isn’t a much easier team to draft for than the Bengals. Pick whatever part of the defense you want to upgrade, and you’re right. Grant brings a massive body at 342 pounds and that size and impact should make everyone around him better.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
Walker just feels like a Seattle Seahawk. His versatility is something every defense wants, having the ability to play on the second level and rush the quarterback in obvious passing situations.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Buccaneers need a ready-made pass rusher or starting cornerback in this spot. The cornerback board didn't fall overly well, so pass rush it is. Scourton might not be the athletic marvel of some other pass rushers in this class, but he is very powerful and tactical.
20. Denver Broncos: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The wide receiver slide officially ends. McMillan brings a massive frame and catch radius to the table. He will become an essential target for quarterback Justin Herbert.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Egbuka to the Steelers has become a popular pairing. His ability as a route runner and and ability after the catch would be a big addition in the slot.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
This is a selection many have seen before, but it just makes so much sense. Loveland provides another talented option to quarterback Justin Herbert, and his relationship with Jim Harbaugh is undeniable.
23. Green Bay Packers: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Kenny Clark is a tremendous player for the Packers, but the team could use a compliment inside. Harmon has experience playing various alignments during his time with Oregon and Michigan State. He has playmaking upside in the system.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
The secondary is set to have several defections for the Vikings, so adding a player who can play a couple of different roles would be huge. Barron isn’t the biggest defensive back, but he’s tenacious, incredibly intelligent, and versatile.
25. Houston Texans: Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
The fall ends for Burden, who lands into an ideal situation. His ability to make things happen in space would be a perfect compliment to Nico Collins, and quarterback CJ Stroud gets more support.
26. Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
With the impending loss of wide receiver Cooper Kupp, the Rams will need to find some talented pass catchers to soften the blow. Nothing athletically is elite for Golden, but he just knows how to play the wide receiver position.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Left tackle is a point of emphasis this offseason, and left guard Patrick Makari is also set to hit free agency. Membou brings some flexibility with good length, but the profile to also fit inside.
28. Detroit Lions: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
Kevin Zeitler is a free agent, and Graham Glasgow had his struggles in 2024. Booker may be able to upgrade either spot to help sustain the Lions' success up front.
29. Washington Commanders: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
A massive offensive lineman with premier strength and length, Ersery has enough movement skills to stick at tackle. He is also a bit of a tone-setter in the run game for an added bonus.
30. Buffalo Bills: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Emmanwori is a potential difference-maker on the back end for a defense. His combination of size (6-3, 227 pounds) and movement skills is something to behold.
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
If you watched this past Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chiefs' offensive line just wasn’t good enough. Adding quality players up front, and those who could stick at offensive tackle, would be a welcomed addition.
32. Philadelphia Eagles: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
The Eagles are in a position to draft for luxury right now. Conerly could end up being the heir apparent to Lane Johnson at right tackle, or compete inside at right guard if Mekhi Becton isn’t resigned.
