The 2024-25 NFL season is officially halfway through, and what a season it's been so far. Week 10 is all but wrapped up, and we still have no real clarity on which teams are the top teams. Parity is at a recent high, and everything feels wide open for half the league this season.
As for the other half, well, fans are already onto draft season. That's why we're here: to try and fix these teams.
The 2025 NFL Draft is a tough one to nail, as most of this class feels like one massive shoulder shrug, particularly at quarterback. Grades for everyone but the few clear-cut top talents are all over the place, and none of this feels easy. Still, it's always fun to dive in and explore different scenarios with these mock drafts.
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Hunter is the best player in this draft class. We've never seen a player quite like him with his ability to play both wide receiver and cornerback at an elite level.
Fortunately for Jacksonville, that's two of its biggest weaknesses. While I believe Hunter is best suited for cornerback in the NFL, there's nothing that says he can't rotate in at wide receiver at times and give Trevor Lawrence another talented weapon on the outside. He's an elite playmaker on either side of the ball.
2. New York Giants
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Giants have to cut ties with Daniel Jones, ASAP. It's been more than obvious for years that he's just not cutting it.
Fortunately, they beat everyone to nabbing the QB1 in this draft class in Shedeur Sanders.
3. Cleveland Browns
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Greg Newsome could be trade bait this offseason, and Denzel Ward has battled too many concussions and could be having an unfortunate conversation about his long-term career.
Johnson is an elite playmaker at cornerback, with terrific instincts, ball skills, and athleticism. His movement skills at his size pop off the film, and give him elite NFL upside.
4. Las Vegas Raiders
Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
To the surprise of no one but the Raiders' organization, the quarterback room of Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell flopped.
I don't think Cam Ward should go this high, based on his film, but what other choices do the Raiders have at this stage? Might as well gamble on the tools.
5. Miami Dolphins
Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
I debated back and forth about this selection. At first, I wanted to address the offensive line. However, the Dolphins have invested at both tackle spots, and I can't imagine they'd take a guard in the top five picks.
Mason Graham is in contention for the top player in this draft class. He's one of the most disruptive defensive linemen to enter the NFL Draft in recent memory and was a massive (literally) part of their national championship in 2023.
6. Tennessee Titans
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
With no serious quarterback options to go here, I moved on to adding the top player left on the board in freakshow pass rusher Abdul Carter.
His explosiveness makes his film an absolute blast, and he would add a top-flight edge rusher to pair with Jeffery Simmons wrecking shop on the interior.
7. New England Patriots
Will Campbell, OL, LSU
Vederian Lowe has filled in admirably at left tackle for the Patriots, but everywhere else has been a weakness for New England. Will Campbell can play tackle at the next level, but some scouts have him at guard.
Both spots could use serious upgrades for New England if they want to keep Drake Maye upright, and Campbell is the best player on the board.
8. New Orleans Saints
Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Saints' pass rush needs a serious boost, as they are one of the worst teams in pressure rate and have just 19 sacks. With Chase Young, Payton Turner, and Tanoh Kpassagnon all set to hit free agency, it'd be wise for the Saints to add a young talent to replenish that room.
The Aggies had Scourton add some bad weight in the offseason, but his tape is still plenty disruptive. New Orleans has long favored those big, quick pass rushers, and Scourton fits that mold to a T.
9. Carolina Panthers
James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Panthers are dead last in pressures and second-to-last in the league in sacks. The interior of their defensive line will get Derrick Brown back next season, but they need serious help on the edge. When you're a team lacking talent everywhere, nabbing a dynamic pass rusher is a good start.
10. New York Jets
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Jets are a weird football team. Who knows what this looks like next season now that they are sitting at 3-7? Aaron Rodgers already got their head coach fired, and now he might not even be on the team next year with how poor he's playing.
They need help everywhere. Last year, they took their left tackle of the future in Olu Fashanu. With no serious quarterback option here, they add another top-flight pass rusher to pair with Will McDonald for when Haason Reddick leaves in free agency.
11. Dallas Cowboys
Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Dallas has more pressing issues than talent, but the offense needs a serious boost in both creativity and playmaking. Jalen Tolbert has flashes, but is likely best suited as the WR3. They need another dynamic playmaker to pair with CeeDee Lamb.
That describes Luther Burden aptly. There's not a better offensive playmaker at wide receiver in this class. He and Lamb can rotate inside and outside and let a creative playmaker take advantage of mismatches across the board.
12. Indianapolis Colts
Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
It's about time that the Colts got serious about adding talent to the secondary. They've scraped by ignoring the position, but they need playmakers badly. Starks is an elite safety prospect and one of the best ballhawks to enter the draft in some time.
13. Cincinnati Bengals
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
With Tee Higgins likely departing in free agency, the Bengals quickly snag his replacement in Tetairoa McMillan.
I worry some about the separation as a route-runner, but McMillan is a vacuum at wide receiver and catches everything thrown his way. He also adds a nice element of physicality after the catch, which could be just what the Bengals need to replace Higgins.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Buccaneers are relying far too much on Yaya Diaby as their top pass rusher, as he's the only edge rusher producing. They've had to manufacture pass-rush, and it's taken plays away. Their lack of pass-rush ability has limited their ability to close out games.
Stewart has been a steady riser this season and is one of the most explosive pass rushers in the country.
15. Seattle Seahawks
Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
Seattle is a weird team to figure out, but one thing is clear: They need to keep building around Geno Smith. That starts with figuring out that offensive line. The right tackle spot is a glaring weakness, and the future of Abraham Lucas there doesn't seem to be happening with his injuries.
This might be too high for Cam Williams, but teams are willing to bank on tools in this draft class, and he's a terrific athlete for his 335-pound frame. With his length and movement skills, it's a worthwhile investment.
16. Chicago Bears
Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas
This feels so low for Kelvin Banks, and in a draft with trades, he likely goes much higher than this. Chicago benefits here nonetheless, opting to add a left tackle worth his salt to protect Caleb Williams.
17. Los Angeles Rams
Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
The Rams' defense has had a recent resurgence after a brutal start to the season, but the team needs another playmaker at cornerback opposite of Darious Williams.
Shavon Revel tore his ACL in September but should be ready to go by the summer. His film is too good to pass on here.
18. San Francisco 49ers
Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
It feels like the 49ers need a real threat on the interior of their defensive line every season, and every season they have ignored it. No longer.
Tyleik Williams is an every-down player at the next level. His physicality, quickness, and improved pass rush arsenal have vaulted him up draft boards this season.
19. Denver Broncos
Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Back-to-back Buckeyes come off the board here. Simmons was trending to be the first offensive tackle taken in this class before suffering a torn ACL just a few weeks ago.
With Garett Bolles a pending free agent, Simmons is a natural replacement at left tackle as the Broncos attempt to build around Bo Nix.
20. Houston Texans
Tyler Booker, G, Alabama
The Texans' offensive line has been picked on far too often this season, and it has limited their offense's ability significantly. They need to keep C.J. Stroud healthy and upright, and that starts with upgrading their interior.
Tyler Booker is a mammoth of a man who has quickly ascended to be the top natural guard in this draft class. He's as plug-and-play as they come.
21. Atlanta Falcons
Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
The Falcons' offense has been pretty stellar this season, but I'd like to see them really double down on getting everything they can out of Kirk Cousins by adding as much talent around him as they can.
Isaiah Bond's film is so much better than his numbers due to his quarterback situation. He's a dynamic speedster whose route-running has taken a step forward this season. I wouldn't be shocked if, come April, he's the first wide receiver drafted. Here, the Falcons can add him to a room already featuring Drake London and Darnell Mooney.
22. Arizona Cardinals
LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama
There's been enough written about how poor the Cardinals' pass rush has been this season, so I won't get into it in too much detail. It's safe to say that they need a legitimate threat in that room, as they've had to manufacture pressure too often due to a lack of talent here.
23. Los Angeles Chargers
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Who cares about positional value, this is too much fun to not put in here. I could make a case that Ashton Jeanty is the best offensive player in this class, and it's only his position that dropped him this far. In an offense that loves to run the ball as much as the Chargers with a Jim Harbaugh-led team? Come on, this is too much fun to pass on.
24. Green Bay Packers
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Green Bay's pass rush has entered the conversation for the most disappointing room this season. With players like Rashan Gary, Lukas Van Ness, and Devonte Wyatt, they were expected to help carry the defense and make the Packers playoff contenders. Instead, they've been a clear weakness.
Nobody has shot up draft boards more than Ezeiruaku this season. In a class lacking names beyond the top group, don't be shocked if he starts emerging as a first-round candidate as the draft cycle continues.
25. Washington Commanders
Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia
The Commanders will have to figure out if Walker is a true linebacker or pass rusher, but he's the exact kind of player Dan Quinn has had success working with over the years. He can be a hybrid playmaker Quinn can move around the formation to create pressure.
26. Baltimore Ravens
Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
I thought about an offensive tackle here, but after watching the Ravens' secondary get obliterated on Thursday night football, the secondary has become too much of a problem to ignore. With Brandon Stephens and recently acquired Tre'Davious White set to hit free agency, the Ravens snag a talented corner in Morrison, who fell due to an injury from this season.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers
Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson are set to be free agents this offseason. Fields has proven he isn't the answer, and Wilson is on the wrong side of 30. They need to find a long-term answer to the most important position in the game.
I find it hard to believe Mike Tomlin would be able to pass on a player with Jalen Milroe's traits, given how uncertain his quarterback room looks.
28. Minnesota Vikings
Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
The Vikings need a true three-down player in the interior of their defense. Kenneth Grant is a terrific blend of size, power, and athleticism and has been a key cog in Michigan's dominant defense.
29. Philadelphia Eagles
Emery Jones, OT, LSU
The unfortunate part for the Eagles is that their needs don't really match the available talent here. I don't love the fit of any of the top pass rushers for their defense, and I doubt Howie Roseman would ever commit to a linebacker in the first round.
Instead, he doubles down on what he always does, and that's draft an offensive lineman. Whether he's moving inside to right guard to replace Mekhi Becton or the long-term right tackle replacement for Lane Johnson, Emery Jones's physicality will appeal to Jeff Stoutland right away.
30. Buffalo Bills
Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
The Bills have been searching for a pass rusher opposite of Greg Rousseau for a while, but haven't found that consistent playmaker.
Landon Jackson isn't an overly dynamic athlete, but he's long, physical, violent, and boasts a pretty deep array of pass-rush moves. When paired with his constantly hot motor, Jackson is a consistent force for the Razorbacks' front.
31. Detroit Lions
Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
I thought about so many different paths here for the Lions. They are unpredictable (which is a good thing in general but bad for mock drafts) and could truly go almost anywhere here.
However, I went with an upgrade outside at wide receiver. They could use a more consistent outside presence to really open up that offense, and Tre Harris is an enticing combination of size and athleticism.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Eventually, Travis Kelce has to slow down, right? With the Chiefs opting for their offense to evolve to "death by a thousand paper cuts", they've become one of the top 12 and 13-personnel teams in the league. Adding Warren to that offense as the immediate TE2 and eventual Kelce replacement at TE1 is a terrifying thought.
Round 2
33. New York Giants
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
A lot of the Giants' issues passing have been quarterback-related, but they have to grow their wide receiver room beyond just Malik Nabers. With Darius Slayton leaving in free agency, they need another perimeter threat.
Egbuka is a gifted route runner who excels at finding ways to get open despite average physical traits. His ability to work open and make catches out of his frame makes him a valuable possession-style of receiver, one who could benefit from Nabers drawing most of the attention.
34. Jacksonville Jaguars
Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia
An offensive guard is a boring pick, I get it, but the Jaguars need a serious long-term solution to replace Brandon Scherff at right guard.
Tate Ratledge is as rock solid and steady as they come. He's an NFL-ready starter and has the physicality and fundamentals to be a long-term starter in the NFL.
35. Cleveland Browns
Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU
The Deshaun Watson trade has been an abject failure by any definition, and it's well beyond time the Browns find a new quarterback. I don't love the Nussmeier draft buzz, but the Browns are running out of options here. Might as well gamble on a younger option who can run the offense.
36. Las Vegas Raiders
Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Nate Hobbs is likely on his way to greener pastures in free agency, and the Raiders could use a playmaker in the secondary to replace him. Barron is a smart and instinctive player who has played at every spot in the secondary for the Longhorns.37. Tennessee Titans
37. Tennessee Titans
Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
The Titans need to find a better solution at right tackle than the revolving door they've had this season.
Aireontae Ersery is a left tackle who would have to switch to the right in this scenario, but he has the skill set to do so.
38. Miami Dolphins
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Miami Dolphins need to continue adding weapons to the offense. Jonnu Smith is a nice piece, but they need a serious weapon in the middle of the field to pair with Tua Tagovailoa.
Colston Loveland isn't a traditional tight end in aligning in-line, but he's a gifted weapon with the ball in his hands.
39. New York Jets
Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona
The Jets continue to add to their defense here. With D.J. Reed a pending free agent, the Jets replenish their secondary here with a long, gifted playmaker in Tacario Davis.40. New Orleans Saints
40. New Orleans Saints
Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
The future of right tackle Ryan Ramczyk is in jeopardy with his medical concerns, and the Saints need to secure that side for the long haul. Jonah Savaiinaea is similar to their most recent first-round pick Taliese Fuaga, and would give them a pair of mauling tackles.
41. Chicago Bears (via CAR)
J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
The Bears need to continue to add to their pass rush room, especially with recent trade acquisition Darrell Taylor heading for free agency.
42. New England Patriots
Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
With Josh Uche and Matt Judon no longer on the team, the Patriots need to replenish the talent of their pass rush room. Princely Umanmielen is a long, explosive rusher whose tools give him an intriguing upside.
43. Dallas Cowboys
Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Cowboys' defensive line is still in rough shape, and it's becoming evident that Mazi Smith isn't putting it together. Even worse, Osa Odighizuwa is a pending free agent. Adding a talent like Derrick Harmon helps shore up their biggest weakness defensively.
44. Cincinnati Bengals
Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
Much like Dallas, the Bengals' interior defensive line is a glaring weakness of the team. They need to add a playmaker up the middle. Walter Nolen, a former five-star, is trending up draft boards with his natural tools and dominant play in the SEC so far this season.
45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mansoor Delane, CB, Virginia Tech
The Buccaneers have battled injury at cornerback this season, but there's a dearth of talent in that room. They need another player there to complement recent breakout star Zyon McCollum.
46. Indianapolis Colts
Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
We're all aboard rebuilding the Colts' secondary in this mock draft. Maxwell Hairston has battled injury this season, but he's a fluid playmaker who isn't afraid to get involved in the run game.
47. Chicago Bears
Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue
Spending two picks in the top 50 on the offensive line here, the Bears invest in an interior player this time. Mbow plays right tackle for the Boilermakers but is projected inside to guard or center. He can plug and play at either spot with his movement skills and physicality.
48. Seattle Seahawks
Danny Stutsman, LB, Oklahoma
The Seahawks have had issues at linebacker since Bobby Wagner left, prompting them to make multiple signings and trades here. They need some young stability in the room.
Danny Stutsman is a high-energy, physical player who has become the heart and soul of the Oklahoma Sooners. He's a plug-and-play Mike linebacker.
49. Carolina Panthers (via LAR)
Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
Jaycee Horn has been a key player for the Panthers, but they need more help at cornerback moving forward if they want the defense to turn it around.
50. San Francisco 49ers
Azarey'h Thomas, CB, Florida State
The 49ers have been searching for cornerback help as of late, and have multiple players set to hit free agency. It'd be wise to pair Azarey'h Thomas with former FSU teammate Renardo Green to give San Fran a pair of young, gifted cornerbacks.
51. Denver Broncos
Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson
The Broncos defense has been one of the best in the league this season, but they could use an upgrade in the middle and provide a long-term play at linebacker.
52. Atlanta Falcons
Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
The Falcons opt to invest in the secondary here. Louisville's Quincy Riley would have been one of the top corners in last year's draft class before he opted to return.
53. Arizona Cardinals
Kevin Winston Jr., SAF, Penn State
With Budda Baker a pending free agent, the Cardinals might want to find a younger replacement here. This safety class has been up and down, but Winston is a terrific playmaker, particularly in the run game.
54. Houston Texans
Dontay Corleone, DT, Cincinnati
The Texans' defense has been really good, but if their game against Detroit confirmed anything, it's that they need to be more stout in the run game. Dontay Corleone is a mammoth up the middle and would be a terrific 1-technique for them to add to their already talented defensive front.
55. Green Bay Packers
Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State
The Packers continue their defensive overhaul by adding a traitsy, physical cornerback to their secondary in Davison Igbinosun.
56. Los Angeles Chargers
Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky
Deone Walker's tape is a mixed bag. He has the traits worthy of a top-ten pick, but has yet to consistently put it together and maximize his traits. With the Chargers looking to replenish talent on the defense and getting good play out of their young cornerbacks, I'll project them banking on the traits up the middle here.
57. Baltimore Ravens
Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia
The Ravens have both left tackle Ronnie Stanley and left guard Patrick Mekari projected to hit free agency. While they likely bring back Stanley, they need a long-term fix at left guard. Milum has been a stellar physical presence for the Mountaineers at left tackle, but is projected to move inside in the NFL.
58. Washington Commanders
Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon
The Commanders struck gold with quarterback Jayden Daniels. Now it's time to add more talent around him. Stewart is slight, but he is an explosive playmaker who would help boost Jayden Daniels' numbers deep.
59. Buffalo Bills (via MIN)
Nick Emmanwori, SAF, South Carolina
The Bills need to add real talent to their safety room after this season. Emmanwori is a terrific ballhawk. He is second in the country in interceptions this season and is a smooth athlete in the open field.
60. Pittsburgh Steelers
Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren are both projected to be free agents. With offensive coordinator Arthur Smith likely still in town, the Steelers will need another lead back. Kaleb Johnson is a natural fit in their outside zone scheme with his smooth feet and vision.
61. Philadelphia Eagles
Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan
The Eagles are slated to have both Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham hit free agency. They need to continue adding talent to their pass rush room. Josaiah Stewart fits the Eagles' mold of small, shifty speed rushers.
62. Buffalo Bills
Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M
The Bills continue to add to the talent on their defensive line. With multiple players set to hit free agency and a need to boost their pass rush, the Bills take one of the best overall athletes in this class in twitchy three-technique Shemar Turner.
63. Detroit Lions
Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State
It's no secret the Lions are going to continue adding to their pass rush, even after trading for Za'Darius Smith. Sawyer isn't exciting, but he's the kind of high-floor, high-motor player the Lions have coveted under head coach Dan Campbell.
64. Kansas City Chiefs
Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn State
Going back-to-back Nittany Lions here for Kansas City, the Chiefs double down on the offense here. Their rushing attack has been so inconsistent this season that they had to bring back Kareem Hunt to add some sort of spark.
Singleton is an explosive and gifted runner who can be their lead back for the foreseeable future. He's also a natural receiver who can take any catch to the house.
