Just about everyone has the same opinion about this year's quarterback class, which is that it's a weak group.
This year's Senior Bowl group, though, has three QBs who are mentioned by many as guys who could end up being the third off the board after the consensus top two in Colarado's Shedeur Sanders and Miami's Cam Ward.
I've been in attendance for the first two days of practice and have watched each QB participating very closely. Below, I have ranked each of the seven in terms of who has played the best here in Mobile.
2025 Senior Bowl QB power rankings after Day 2 of practice

1. Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
I think the clear best QB in each of the first two Senior Bowl practices has been Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart. He's had his fair share of struggles but has made good throws at all three levels. And I think he has given wide receivers the best chance to make plays during one-on-ones this week. If I were to predict right now who the third QB off the board come April, it would definitely be Dart.
2. Dillon Gabriel, QB, Oregon
Heisman finalist and Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel comes in second for me when ranking the Senior Bowl QB's performances in practice. Gabriel's accuracy, which we saw at Oregon, has been evident here, but so has his lack of arm strength at times. It is easy to see why Gabriel is in consideration to be the third QB off the board, though he wouldn't be my choice for the spot. But I will say Gabriel was closer to being first on this list than third.
3. Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame
Rounding out the top three is Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard, fresh off a National Championship appearance. The drop-off from two to three on this list is pretty significant, as I think the rest of the group has struggled tremendously. Day two was much better for Leonard than day one, though, so I went ahead and gave him the three spot. I will say he has one of the best throws of the entire week so far, with a deep ball to Arkansas WR Isaac TeSlaa.
4. Seth Henigan, QB, Memphis
This one might surprise some, but I'm going to stand firm that Memphis QB Seth Henigan has been the fourth-best QB on the field through the first two practices. On day two, he displayed some really nice touches on his passes and gave his targets in one-on-ones a lot of great opportunities. Going into the week, Henigan probably would have been ranked as my fifth or sixth QB on the Senior Bowl roster. But he simply has outplayed Alabama's Jalen Milroe, which I'm just as shocked as you guys probably are.
5. Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Alabama's Jalen Milroe's poor performance through the first two days of practice has been one of the bigger disappointments of the week. His accuracy has been by far the worst of the group, and at times, people in attendance aren't even sure how he is missing some of the throws he is. This setting also probably hurts Milroe because he is unable to show his mobility much at all. His overall skill set is the reason he will end up being drafted higher than his performance at the Senior Bowl would suggest. He ended day two with a couple of solid balls, though, so let's hope he is able to shake off the first two days and end on a high note Thursday.
6. Tyler Shough, QB, Lousiville
I have a pretty big gap between five and six, but at six is Louisville QB Tyler Shough out of Louisville. He is coming off a seven-year college career with time at Oregon, Texas Tech, and finally Louisville in 2024. In practice, Shough, like many of the QBs, has struggled with accuracy, but unlike the others on this list, I haven't seen him even have a "wow" moment through the first two days of practice. He will be 26 years old during his rookie season in the NFL so I don't really see much upside of him developing into a starter. Shough will get drafted higher than I personally think he should. He has a prototypical size and has a lot of college experience. Multiple teams will value them as a scout team QB and potentially an option to become a long-term backup in the league. But so far, through two practice,s I think he's struggled to standout.
7. Taylor Elgersma, QB, Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada)
Last up, I have Taylor Elgersma from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. Elgersma has a great frame for a QB and has great arm strength. But he has struggled with accuracy and has made some bone-headed decisions during team drills, some resulting in interceptions. I wouldn't be shocked if an NFL team takes a chance on him because his tools are so intriguing, but he seems far away from even being a backup-caliber QB in the NFL.
